Apostle Larry C. Nixon, Jr. is a native of Bronx New York. He was born to Joyce and Larry Nixon.
He received Jesus as his Lord and Savior on September 28, 1979. And answered Gods call to ministry on Easter Sunday in 1992 at Israelite Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of the Bishop Roosevelt Dunn. A deep hunger for a relationship with God lead him to leave Colorado Springs and upon arrival in Charlotte NC submit to Cornerstone Gospel Church. While under the spiritual leadership of Pastors Russell and Sandy Hosey he began to serve as an associate Minister and Singles Pastor, Youth Leader, as well as founding a Community Bible Study.
After a season, Father God released a covenant prophetic blessing from his throne room. That blessing was a help meet by the name of Keina Nixon. The two became acquainted in September 1994 and were married on July 6, 1996
In 2000, the Lord began to speak to Larry and Keina concerning a shift that would come in the year 2002. This shift would result in them entering into full time ministry by the end of 2002. That prophetic word was fulfilled on November 20th 2002, with the first service of Liberty Worship Center in Williamsburg VA founded by Pastors Larry and Keina Nixon.
Today, Liberty Worship Center is a multicultural, international, and kingdom minded ministry that is being lead by Pastors Larry and Keina Nixon. By faith, they and the members of their church have been able to impact such nations as Peru, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Israel, Philippines, Cambodia, South Africa, and the Dominican Republic on missions trips and crusades within the first 6 years of existence.
On January 4, 2009 the Apostolic Mantle was confirmed in Pastor Larry's life by Chief Apostle Ron Johnson, Apostle Travis Thigpen and Dr. Decker Tapscott. He is the Senior Pastor of Liberty Worship Center, and the founder and Overseer of Soaring Eagles International Ministries Apostle Nixon recieved his Bachelor Degree in Biblical Theology, from the "Full Gospel Baptist Bible Institute".
He is the proud Father of 3 handsome and anointed young men and one lovely daughter: Lacroy, Samuel, Micah Nixon, and Porsche.
