She was born to an unwed mother and raised as the oldest of two daughters. She received Jesus as her Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday in 1987 at Little Rock AME Zion Church under the leadership of the late Pastor William E. White. A deep hunger for a relationship with God lead her leave the family church she had known all of her life and join New Town Road Community Church in Waxhaw under the leadership of Pastor Harold Walker. While under this spiritual leadership she received the infilling of the Holy Spirit in 1991 and began to live for Christ. A great deal of adversity was the key that unlocked Pastor Keinas prayer life. With the death of her mother and a close personal friend in 1993, she came to know God as a mother to the motherless. A deep desire for fellowship with Father God was birthed within her during this season in her life. It was also during this time that she decided that nothing else would satisfy her, keep her, and sustain her, like the presence of God. After a season of great adversity, Father God released a covenant blessing from his throne room. The name of the blessing was a man by the name of Larry C. Nixon Jr. The two became acquainted in September 1994 and were married on July 6, 1996 under the leadership of Pastor Russle Hosey. (Cornerstone Gospel Church, Charlotte NC)In 2000, the Lord began to speak words to Larry and Keina concerning a shift that would come in the year 2002. This shift would result in them entering into full time ministry by the end of 2002. Prophecy was fulfilled on November 20th 2002, the first service of Liberty Worship Center in Williamsburg VA founded by Pastor Larry and Keina Nixon.Today, Liberty Worship Center is a multicultural, international, and kingdom minded ministry that is being lead by Pastor Larry and Keina Nixon. By faith, they and the members of their church have been able to impact such nations as Peru, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Israel, Philippines, Cambodia, South Africa, and the Dominican Republic on missions trips and crusades within the first 6 years of existence.On June 15, 2008 was installed in the office of Prophet and ordained as a Prophet to the nations by Chief Apostle Ron Johnson and Pastor Larry C Nixon Jr.. She is the co-pastor of Liberty Worship Center, the founder and director of Power of Liberty Summer Camp and founder of Kiah Shalom Prayer Mininstries. Pastor Keina is currently pursuing An Associates degree in Early Childhood Development. She is also a graduate of Brookstone Business College.She is the proud mother of 3 handsome and anointed young men and one lovely step daughter: Lacroy (13), Samuel (8), Micah Nixon (6), and Porsche (21).
